Chennai Snake Park Trust

The Snake park is located inside the City of Chennai. Recommend to visit the place atleast before 4.30pm during natural lighting, post that visibility of the snakes won't be clear (few areas lights aren't available). Apart from Snakes, they have a new guest 'Iguana' (A reptile) and the visitors can see very close.

Space is a major constraint here. Nonetheless the walk through Iguana enclosure is a must visit. A hands on feeding experience with the iguana is highly recommended. Sadnreality here is the lack of space and kinda feel keeping mighty crocs in small enclosures is nothing less of cruelty to those majestic animals.

A good place to spend some time with friends and families where you can see snakes and birds

Have a variety of poisonous and non-poisonous snakes. King Cobra is not there, but have python to small snakes. Got few varities of turtles and crocs. The museum has lot of lizards, snakes for display. Can spend 30 mins to 45 mins there. Charges are reasonable. Adults 20/-, children above five 10/-, still camera 10/-
