Arignar Anna Zoological Park

Good place to spend around 3 hours... We took the zoo rounds vehicle, which is charged 100rs per adult, 50rs per child. It will cover the important visiting spots within one hour .... As the zoo covers a vast area, we found this option quite effective... It will be a chaos otherwise to visit this place with 2 kids.. then we walked for another one hour to see the other animals near the entrance... The cycle option is also good..neatly maintained space... Somewhat neat toilet facility.... Enough water facility ..

Good place to kill time. May be good sight for kids. Animals are not kept active at least mid day.nI don't remember any safari where lion is kept in cage. Isn't the whole purpose of safari is to see the wild roam free? Just one lion is kept outside to roam and that is in snooze in last 3 of my visit!nFees are nominal. Cycle/battery operated cars are available.

Its a great place to visit. A vast area where you can enjoy with your family and friends. If you are animal lover it's good to go alone and observe them. You can also opt for cycles there which will be even more comfortable.

Nice place for family hangout. You can spend completely whole day with family here as the park is so big and so many species of animals, birds and reptiles. You can reach via bus from any part of city, located near railway station too and also have parking space for private vehicle. It has a snack and food counter inside. Also many restaurants located near the park.nYou can carry home cook food inside but only on steel food box or reusable plastic food boxes. No parcel allowed . Since it's an eco friendly environment any type disposable food containers, plates or bags are strictly not allowed inside.

The zoo is huge and well maintained with wide variety of birds, reptiles and animals. The entrance tickets are moderate and good place to spend a full day. Outside foods are not allowed. Children park is also available. Live cam facilities are given. Restroom and water facilities are arranged at regular intervals.
