A very historic temple with history. A must visit temple at heart of the town. Adequate parking available. A very peaceful place. Spend time to understand the history and the importance of this place. Not very crowded. God looks beautiful and divine.

Temple is one of the oldest ones around Bangalore and the architecture is unique as explained by the guide in the temple

For a one day outing from Bangalore this temple is an ideal place. The temple is almost nine hundred years old. This temple is an example of the Dravidian and Nagara style of architecture fusion. Lord Saumyakeshava is extremely beautiful. Not to miss another yoga Narasimha Temple which is a right behind this temple.

Sri.Soumyakeshava Swamy is tall @ >6 feet, dark and handsome. The great sculptors have embellished the cealing like a 3D graphic with intricate carvings and sculptures. Overall a wonderful temple to visit.
