Hotel Windsor Shimla

Best utilization of space :P I didn't get at how many levels they have made this hotel. It's difficult to find, so better you contact the hotel staff before getting lost. The lady behind the number is very calm and patience - making it easy to find the hotel. Services are average apart from the specific call they give if it rains/snows to every guest. That's the best. Hotel staff is okay okay. I was a bit scared of wooden walls but that ain't a big deal. It has just started and they are still working on improving, probably later when I visit I will give them 5 stars but for this time 3 stars.

Rooms like wood cottage, neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable, but if you are going in a very cold season you need to pay extra for a heater, the room was extremely cold (-4). My suggestion is to include the heater in the package. This was a only negative point. The room service was impeccable. Staff is really good and cooperative, two of them helped me with the luggage from the parking area to the hotel and vice versa. I got prompt service from all of them, thanks to Yachna mam, she was very humble. Located in a good area, just some steps away from mall road where you can find the best shops and restaurants of Shimla. By the way it deserves five stars.
