Water lillies were off when we went. Vast stretch of Paddy fields were green and growing up. The place is remote countryside in Kottayam. The road goes and finishes at a dead end with a bridge and walking path to interior of village. There are few shops by the road for small snacking and refreshments. However, no restaurants.

Such a beautiful view!! We visited malarickal on the last day October 27th .By the time we reached they already pumped out water and getting ready for this year’s farming . We had a little luck where we had to walk 2km to reach the last remaining water lilies.nI strongly recommend everyone to visit next as it can help local community as well ourselvesnBest view for eyes!!

An incredible sight to see for a nature lover...nSeptember - october months are the blossoming season....nMorning or evening is the best time to visit...

Really a beautiful place nature has provided. fantastic view of the pink water lillies in the paddy fields is awesome.we can have a boat ride in the fields . also we can pluck he flowers . during the season time its usually crowded. parking will be a little bit problem. situated only 8 kms from kottayam town.
