A surreal experience. One could sit on the walls of the dam all day long and just enjoy the view.nIdeal for couples, families and individuals who enjoy a scenic ride just outside the city. The road from Bhopal to the dam is a treat in itself but the dam is another experience altogether.

It's a huge dam situated around 35 km from Bhopal (kolar road ). You may find many picnic spots on the way of kolar dam. Best time to visit during mid late monsoon,May on that time gate will open. A great place for sunset viewing.

I like the approach road to reach this place. Specially during rainy season, both side full of greenery.
