Nupi Lal Memorial Complex

This Nupi Lal Complex is in the middle of Imphal city. This is a historical complex dedicated to Nupi (Women) Lal (War) happened two times in the state. Every year celebrated on 12th December.

It is built to perpetuate the memory of Nupeelal (women uprings).It is located by the side of Imphal Head post office.One can see photographs,records of the events displayed in this splendor memorial buildings.

Although a memorial of utmost importance for the people of Manipur but very badly maintained by the Government of Manipur. It is a tribute to a bunch of courageous brave women who sacrificed their lives fighting for justice against the Britishers and fought to life and freedom in the year 1939. You can easily notice it from traffic, as it is situated adjacent to the main road. You can hire the complex for exhibitions, meetings, stage shows etc, however it doesn't fit for seminar and conference.

It is a very important historical place of our motherland manipur. Watching the statue gives us the strength about all the women in manipur.
