Nice place if you visit at evening time. Sunset brings the golden color on lake side and the other side the cool sea breeze hits.

One of the best places I have ever visited. I like sitting in between ocean and lake with very minimal distance. One can see both the sides of the island like ocean and lake. Try to visit if you are visiting Chilika.

Very scenic place but polluted by visitors and vendors. The sea and beach across the shubbery (beware of the thorns) is usually not crowded, can often be enjoyed in solace and a great place for collecting shells. All sorts of food and drinks are available at the picnic spot. Boat ride charges can be bargained for and arriving early to spend the whole day is recommended.nWarning: Do not fall for the pearl and gems ride; authenticity of the stones cannot be guaranteed.
