Sangam Travels

Horrible experience! I had booked a cab from them for my mother today for a up down trip to ropar. Upon reaching ropar driver was supposed to wait outside while my mother finished some work. When she called him to pick her up driver said I'm coming in 5 mins. She kept waiting for 25 mins in hot humid conditions and there was no sign of the driver.nnShe called the driver again and asked where he was and this time he said he was having lunch! He could have mentioned it before but he didn't bother & was probably lying. He again assured her that he will be there in 5 mins. Another 25 mins passed & he didn't show up!nnAt this stage my mother called sangam travel's main owner whose number is listed in Google /just dial and apprised him of the situation. He said he will immediately find out & revert back. Then for 15 mins there was no response from him. Then my mother called him again and he said the car has broken down all of a sudden. By this time my mom, an elderly woman had been standing on the road for an hour. She told sangam travel's that this was highly unprofessional & she was in a tough situation having to arrange some alternate travel on the spot. At this the owner shouted at her and was very rude saying breakdown can happen anytime etc.nnSangam travel's felt ZERO responsibility towards an elderly client, to keep them informed, arrange for their convenience etc.nnSubsequently my mom somehow managed to get another cab and come back home to patiala while her medicine bag, thermos flask & some other stuff was left in the sangam cab. Now even after 5 hours they have not returned any of our stuff so my mom had to buy new medicines. I myself called the lender and asked where is our stuff we need to collect it and he was again extremely rude & argumentative & said it will take few hours for it to be handed over as the cab hadn't returned from ropar.nnWhen I insisted that we need it urgently and we are ready to go collect it, he got abusive and shouted at the driver that go deliver it right now. A few minds ago he was saying cab hasn't returned. So clearly he was lying.nnThis is an extremely rude, unreliable taxi service which will not only harrass you and leave u high and dry but they will misbehave with you after doing that.
