So much to see, learn and admire! They've organized this so well with natural-looking habitats and the animals look well. Easily spent 5 hours, with no time to hike the trails. Went for the 4pm giraffe feeding but it was cancelled b/c the animals weren't coming to the feeding area anymore. Highlights to see the cheetah, leopards, lynxes and more. If we lived closer, we would def become members to support the wonderful conservation work they do here. Tip: they told me in/out privileges to the car was fine so we brought our own food and layers (gets cool after 4pm in November).

We've been to the area a few times and finally got to the zoo! It was definitely unique and I love that the natural environment was such a huge factor rather than having completely man-made enclosures for the animals. The model train are was a surprise and so so fun! Especially for kids. Plus I've never been to a zoo where the wallabies could just run around freely, I loved that even if my son didn't really care.nnPetting zoo was open and easy to do, and the giraffe feeding looked fun, but the line was gigantic.

What a fun day out!nnFresh air and perfect weather.nnMy two year old loved it.nCan't wait for the rhinos!nI loved the wallaby lounge they ran freely as you entered their home!nnFeeding the giraffes was my favorite. How majestic! My toddler was just blown away and to be honest so was I!nnWe had so much fun. Bring water. Prepare for hills. Bring a stroller or rent one. Sun was beating in some points so prepare for that.nnWe will be going back!

This is my favorite place to visit every season. It is by far the best zoo I have ever visited, it is 100% better than the Sand Diego Zoo. I know they really are completely different, but here the animals have space and the staff are so informed and loving. The animals are majestic and just love their handlers. I love the new exhibit and as always the birds are my favorite to sit and listen to while eating an ice cream. My grand babies love the giraffes and the mountain goats. I wish it were open a bit later in the hotter days.

Very enjoyable time! Had no idea that they had nature hikes out to the San Andreas fault line and around the dessert with little signs to tell you about the dessert and dessert life. Was such a cool surprise.nTakes about 3 hours to see everything and complete the 1.5 mile hike.nLots of families though which means the animals don’t start “waking up” until around 4pm once most of the screaming children have left. We ended up walking back to see if some of the sleeping animals were awake and they were later in the day.
