Great deal for the price. Just a couple of dollars difference between the year pass and a day pass. Nice amount of animals and exhibits to see. Lots of fun for the whole family. Loved all the different areas. A good place to go for a family outing, Don't forget your swimsuit and water shoes so the kids can play in the fountains during a hot day.

My family and I enjoy the zoo. We love the pay for a day and get the year option. It's a great way to enjoy a nice walk while learning about animals. Since we don't have to purchase tickets each time, we make sure to eat or participate in special encounters any time we go. This way we continue to support the animals. Love visiting the manatee center and knowing they take care of them only until they can release them. ❤

We purchased the Tampa City Pass and this park was included in it and we are oh so happy it was. I had not heard of the zoo there before and kinda thought it was going to be a small city park zoo. Nope, it was huge and amazing. We are so please to have gotten to experience it and will return for sure. Our daughter loved it and we want to take her friends on another trip to Florida and will be including a day at Zoo Tampa...if not 2. Must see if in the Tampa area.

Wonderful Zoo! I wish they were open just a little later... to accommodate those getting off work just when they're closing, plus it's slightly cooler in the evening. As a member, I love that I can just pop in for a short visit... not feel rushed to hit all stations in 1 visit. There's a lot to see & do. We grab a snack & walk around... a relaxing way to unwind at the end of a day, or during an extended lunch break! Food prices are high. Membership cost is reasonable & you can use it for discounts on food & in the gift shop.

Pretty decent zoo, but for the big price tag I would've expected more. The grounds are expansive, but with only mediocre care taken to keep it up. Most of the displays were phoned-in too. The flip side is there are amazing animals here! The Florida Panther, Cloud Jaguar, Koalas, Rhinos, Elephants are spectacular. Great wildlife, average park
