Patna Zoo - Gate Number 2

Great place to enjoy with friends and family. We can take our kids for a visit to a variety of wild and pet animals ud83dudc35ud83dudc14ud83dudc36ud83dudc37 and a good variety of different types of birds like Hill Myna, Cassowary and much more. It contains Children Park as well for the kid's rides. It contains Fish ud83dudc20ud83dudc0bud83dudc1f House, Boating Spot, Nice Canteen and also Patna Golf ⛳ Club is there. We can enjoy a lot in the Jungle Trails ud83dudc63ud83dudc63 This Zoo also offers CNG vehicles for us with a nominal charge to visit the zoo ud83dudc18ud83dudc3cud83dudc2f keeping in mind not to disturb or pollute the environment in any way. I loved this place!!!!!

Nice and beautiful✨a place where lots of wild animals are there. Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park is one of India's 16 largest zoos and was built-in 1973. This zoo is also famous as the Sanjay Gandhi Botanical and Zoological Garden or Patna Zoo and is one of the top tourist attractions in Patna. Spread over an area of 618966.69 sq. This zoo contains 800 animals of approximately 110 species within meters. As per their nature, the animals are further kept in various rooms, like Saap Ghar (snake house), Machhali Ghar (fish aquarium).nnThe visitors get to see more tigers, leopards, jackals, blackbucks, elephants, Himalayan black bears, zebras, and giraffes. Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan also has Indian rhinoceros, pythons, emus, hippopotamus, white peacocks, and crocodiles.

Very decent place to hangouts with friends and family. Peace of lakeside area is amazing. You can sit there hour n hours.

This is a beautiful place for walking and entertaining Especially for children there are two ticket fares 30 rupees for adult and 10 rupees for children and time is 7:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Patna Zoo is one of best zoos I have visited so far, mainly due to collection of animals.nThere will be long queue for entry during weekend.nOnce you enter, you have option to take the tour on foot or by renting a wagon (either renting full vehicle or on shared basis). Usually there is wait time for the wagon. However, you don't need to wait, you can just walk around and wagon folks will call you to check where you are and they will pick u up. Caution: the wagon is for 1 hour service, so better utilize it to full (please don't waste time in stopping multiple times for purchasing water/ice cream/ snack etc). You can plan to buy all these in advance before wagon arrives for pick up. Please note, external food items will not be allowed.nnThere is one kids play area with lots of slides and swings (kids are charged Rs 5 and adults are charged Rs 10, adults are just allowed inside and not for the rides, obviously they are meant for kids).nnDuring 1 hour ride, we could spot Lion, white tiger, hippo, rhino, crocodile/alligators, snakes (cobra and pythons), deer (stag/spotted deer), giraffe, elephant, bear, birds, zebra, bison, etc.nnAt the end, wagon will drop near gate number 2 exit. You can walk to 2D/3D theater for small 3D movie. It was good insightful movie.nnThere was canteen inside the campus which offered good snack, cold drink and ice creams.nnOverall, it was good visit. Kids enjoyed it thoroughly.
