Getting to and from Safeco Field by light rail was easy and efficient for this wheelchair user. I found that the easiest path to Safeco's SE gate was via the west sidewalk on 4th Ave. S up to Edgar Martinez Drive (others may find this long slope too rigorous). Returning to the station via Royal Brougham Way was more of a hassle IMHO because it required waiting for an elevator.

Decent station, I've been here a few times to go to CenturyLink Field. But if you're using this station to go to a game or event, LOAD YOUR ORCA CARD WITH ENOUGH MONEY BEFORE YOU GET HERE. The station only has two ticket machines, and can have a really long line to use them, so you will save yourself a lot of time if you load an Orca card before hand.

Excellent option for getting to ether stadium, or connecting to Greyhound next door.
