Great varieties of animals.. Food, and washrooms available for many area's. Great for spend all a fun day whit the family. Not a short way. Need walk a lot. Its important use comfortable shoes.

Wild tales family camping was a blast. Well staffed and organized, dinner and breakfast were nothing to write home about, but definitely acceptable. The sites are flat(ish), definitely big enough, with a picnic table and access to central washrooms. It was really cool to wander the zoo after hours - keep in mind that paths and exhibits aren't lit. We saw a moose - that turned out to be a bison on closer inspection (of the signage). Would recommend if you've got kids in the six to eleven year old range who can handle a night in a tent. Watching the Eland frolic just for us was worth the price of admission.

We visited the zoo on 27 September 2020. It was a wonderful day to spend the day with our two year old daughter. She enjoyed the ride, walking, and watching animals and fish aquarium. For small kids and children it's a nice place to spend. However, I would say the collection of animals is very limited in our zoo.

First up, do plan to spend an entire day at the zoo to visit especially if you want to go easy on your limbs else plan way in advance. Once you book your appointment and parking online choose those parks that you may want to more time in and limit time inside indoor areas given the season. Would to be a good idea to avoid the Canadian side with kids on a stroller or without the descend may be pleasant but the climb back will be excruciating. The eateries were closed so carry ample food and drinks in your back pack.
