It is a great place to watch different birds mainly in winter season. If u go in morning before 8.00 am or evening after 5 then u see a lots of birds with different activities.... There is also no risk of drowning in water as it is just a wetland. So we can Capture a Lots of pic of the birds easily. A good place for spending time

Amazing birding. I love the echo friendly way in which the boats take you through the marshes. We are able to get very very close to the birds. Great for photography.

It’s the marsh land lake of Chilka . It’s heaven for sighting migratory birds .nMr NK Bhujabal was instrumental in bringing this place Into the map of ornithologist. He convinced and motivated all poachers to became protectors .nBest time to visit Dec - Jan . You can see migratory birds from far off places like - Mangolia , Caspian Sea etc .nnIt’s a must visit .
