If I could rate it 0/5 stars I would. I think most of the reviews that are more than 3 stars are fake. It is cheap, smelly, and dirty. The guy called 'Happy' stole my jumper and was so unbelievably creepy and disrespectful. There is a rat living in the foyer. No, there is no AC and only sometimes Hot water. Wifi drops out often. If you're a westerner, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Do yourself a favour and stay at 'City on Pedals' instead- that is a real hostel.

Dormitory (hostels) is very affordable and the manager is also friendly. 5 star service. Also Golden Temple is just 700m walking distance from here..

Very poor experience, no key of the hotel room is provided and owner is also very rude. Owner only want to do his business irrespective of providing any facilities including safety too. room is also very smelly.

Wow Backpackers!!! I was just wowed with the experience that I had while staying in this Hostel. The staff was really cordial, it was Happy the one man show all around. He makes people happy just as his name sounds.nnSunil, the owner is also very helpful and man with lot of patience. :) He guided me well for booking confirmation for which I was having trouble.nnHostel is situated on ideal location. It's just waking distance away from Golden Temple, Guru Gobind Singh Fort, Partition Museum and also famous eatery Kesar Da Dhaba is near around.nnThe rooms, toilets and bathrooms were neat and clean. Hostel also has self kitchen facility for the guests. If you like you can cook your own food here. :)nnFrom terrace you can have amazing view of Amritsar skyline. And you can just enjoy the evening looking at the sunset.nnYou can always ask owner and staff for the help. Looking forward to stay again at this Hostel whenever I back to Amritsar.nThanks to Wow Backpackers I enjoyed my stay at Amritsar. It was truly great backpacker experience.
