Velankanni

The station is not maintained even though it's inundated with tourists throughout the year. I was unable to sit in the waiting room (Only General waiting room) because of the stench from the washroom (typical Indian railway station). The charging ports also do not work. The overall experience was very poor

Well maintained railway station with limited facilities.nThe number of trains going through is also few.nTowards Chennai you can find train at 8:45 pm and from Chennai the same starts at 10pm towards VelankanninOnly Auto-rickshaws are available for your further journey. Its around 1.5 km from the Main Basilica Church.
