Compared to any other college, this college's library has very small and outdated collection of books.

Not bad

Visitors appreciate the old Victorian era building and like to click selfies. Beyond that for the purpose why the library exists is unfulfilled. It's managed like it's a charity by government and hence need not be questioned, even for the want of even essential amenities.nThe main reading hall has faint reading lights, the ladies toilets has a lock (for which the keys have to be requested each time a girl need to go).nThe books catalogue is of ancient era and finding a book is mammoth task.nThe staff and the librarian is rude and uncharitable to the readers.nDuring rains, the terrace drips from all sides like one of those Bollywood movie despicable scenes.nAlthough not everything is bad about the place. At very cheap membership rates, it's a desirable place for those students who can't afford AC libraries. And the biggest plus point is that it's located at the middle of Chandrashekhar Azad Park, which is a peaceful location for studying.
