Kanchana Ghat is a ghat of Betwa River in Orchha town located adjacent to the historical Royal Chhatris, both are connected.nnGhat is huge with large and long steps, on the banks of Betwa river flowing through the orchha town. It's name originated from a tale wherein royal and common women of the town used to wash their hands, feet and face here on the ghat and while doing so their gold ornaments used to corroded in the river and at ghat, gold in hindi is called kanchan, hence the name Kanchana.nnI fully recommend to visit the place to get a spiritual experience and to get a serene beautiful view of the betwa river.nnHappy travelling!
