I am an alumni of this college. I was student of 2015-17 batch. The atmosphere is very monotonous and lethergic there. Political atmosphere is pretty volatile here. Situation sometimes gets worse but still pretty much better than other colleges in the district .Teachers are very authoritative and unfriendly. Most of them are from South Bengal. The college is now no longer under NBU. The number distributuon was very harmful during previous years . Now the teachers are lenient to give marks freely . Majority students are from small towns and mofussil areas.

This is a famous college of North Bengal. I was a student of Math Department of this college from 2007 to 2009. From my experience, I can literally say, this was then the best college under North Bengal University. Now time has changed, this college is now under PBU, but it has it's pride still intacted.
