It's a Govt. of Assam establishment situated at West Bengal. The history of this satra is closely related to GURUJONA Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev. It's definitely a historical place and worth visiting if you are native to Assam.nAlthough the satra is badly maintained and surroundings had already been encroached by doubtful locals. This establishment could easily been used as a tourist spot by the Govt. of West Bengal if they would have think so. But till date nothing happened.nIt's about 30 kilometres from New Coochbehar railway station. No direct public transportation is available. You have to hire vehicles to reach there.nGave three ud83cudf1f because this important place is not maintained at all. Anyhow, can spare a day from your leisure to visit this place. Happy Holidays.

Sikhs first guru Guru Nanak dev ji was met with Srimanta sankaradeva in 1505 at dhubri. The ideology of both religion are very similar both believed in holy book.They don't believe in Idolatry
