Stayed one night in February 2021. The owner responded nicely to my request for accommodation and two gibbon sanctuary visits. We found the owner and family very friendly and helpful. The cottage is basic, but comfortable. The food was delicious and filling. The guide arranged by the owner was excellent and because of him we could spent half an hour with a family of gibbons in the midmorning and early morning the next day. The owner dropped us off at the Jorhat bus stand. Over all it was a very interesting experience.

Nice solitary place at Hullongpar Gibbon Sanctuary. Cottages are cozy and comfortable. Owner Mr Jayanta Sharma is a gentle guy. Rooms need more cleaning and attention. Adjusts in your budget. Food homely, tasty and healthy. Prepared from the vegetable garden and fish pond in your camp compound. They serve Mutton, Chicken, Fish anything of your choice. Situated by the ream of the sanctuary and on the main Railway track of Mariani- Dibrugarh. By road 2 km on a side road after 6 km from Mariani- on Ambari road.nDifficult to sleep at night due to creaks and chirps of Jungle animals. Deers and Monkeys are frequent visitor of your cottage. Watch primates on a safari and from watch tower. You can also visit the Tea gardens and nearby villages of Nagaland which are hilly, picturesque and Virgin. Chukafa Garden is another tourist spot in the visinity. They have total four cottages, one under repair. Out of other three two are double bedded and the other four bedded. All are with attached washrooms. Hot water on demand as this is a family run property. All family members are very amicable. From Mariani Railway station you can take a e rickshaw and reach within 20 minutes. A two to three days trip would suffice. It's a paradice far from the Madding crowd.nVisit during October to April. Weather is quite cool.nHave a great trip.

Not bad because of the nature and home cooked food. But,Price is too high interms of the amenities,comfort and cleanliness.
