The court of District & Sessions Judge of Sivasagar at Sivasagar was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Justice H. Lahiri of Gauhati High Court on 16th April 1985. The first roll of honor of District & Sessions Judge, Sivasagar was Sri G.S. Basumatari.nnHistory Of The Court Of Chief Judicial Magistrate: The Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate with the office was established in the year of 1983 and the first Judicial Magistrate was Sri R.K. Sarma.nnHistory Of The Court Of Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Charaideo, Sonari: History of Sub- Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Charaideo, Sonari. The court of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Charaideo, Sonari was 1st time inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Justice H. Lahiri of Gauhati High Court on 8th August, 1984. After the Court building was transferred to the new location and the Judicial Court Building, Sonari was inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri S.
