One of the most pristine and clean places in Delhi which is well maintained by the Government of India. You can enjoy a nice walk, stroll or a jog in the Mornings. The air is clean with a lot of greenery around you. A must visit for everyone who stays in Central Delhi.

This vast park on the bank of Yamuna is surrounding the simple and modest resting place of Panditji Jawaharlal Nehru.nnThe enormous 'van', meaning the forest like park, compensates for the simplicity of the samadhi itself, to match the popular leader's stature.nnPeople living in Delhi are generally apathic to such memorials, but the tourists compulsorily visit them as they are included in all the popular tourist itineraries.nnOtherwise, the park is a good place for walking or meditation, but for the traffic on the major road alongside.
