This Kos Minar is very properly preserved and maintained inside a fenced enclosure that itself is inside a park. There was a lock put by the Pujari of the temple which is also inside the park. The color and texture of the surface are in very nice condition.n♿ Accessibility Features:nYes=Ramp access.nYes=A wheelchair-accessible Entrance.nYes=A wheelchair-accessible Restroom/Toilet.nYes=A wheelchair-accessible Seating.nYes=A wheelchair-accessible Parking.

Kos Minar no. 11 at village Mawai, Faridabad, Haryana is in excellent condition. These kos minars were used to mark the distance on the roads from Vedic period onwards until Mughal times. Sher Shah Suri introdrced pakka minars whereas previously the distances were mareked by kachcha earthen pillars , trees and wells. Must visit if you happen to be in Faridabad. It is apprachabe from Delhi via rail and road.
