Idimuzhangan Nights, Shendurney

On the shores of Thenmala reservoir, accessible only through trek or by boat, the secluded stay organised in the Shendurney wildlife sanctuary by the State forest department through their eco tourism wing, would be better if the rooms for staying are built of materials (like bamboo or wood or mud) close to nature rather than that of humidifying and sweltering tin sheets. No electric power outlets to charge the gadgets. so keep your essential gadgets like mobile phone, camera fully charged and do remember to carry additional power banks. But nature with its near-pristine charm can offset these inconveniences and enthralls the guests.
