The Visitor Center, or Park Center, "Casa Fantini" is located in Val di Zena, near the Loc. Farneto, in the house that belonged to Luigi Fantini, pioneer of exploration of the Bolognese gypsum and founder of the Bolognese Speleological Group.
In the offices it is possible to find leaflets, brochures, posters, books and audiovisual material on the various aspects of the protected area and to obtain information on the activities of the park and the naturalistic and speleological guided tours organized for schools and groups of visitors.
A few steps from the recently inaugurated Grotta del Farneto, it is the meeting point for guided tours of the cave.
It is the center of the park of Gessi and Calanchi, of San Lazzaro. It has the plans of all the parks in the province of Bologna, and provides details on the initiatives present in the parks.
