It is always an emotion to pass along the road that from Statte leads to Taranto and next to the destruction of the industrial giant to see the ancient stones now worn down by time and by atmospheric phenomena to withstand the years and bring the message of strength of times gone by. Whether I am from the Roman or medieval period I don't remember but it is still a fascinating find.
It is a pity, this rest of antiquity in an industrial estate, without protection.
