I cannot refrain from agreeing with Mr. Rossi's opinion. A magnificent place ruined by wicked garbage management. After being excluded from door-to-door waste collection for several days, I went to the eco-center to deliver the smelly bags that were piling up in front of the front door. I was greeted by a person who was anything but cordial who, after a vivid verbal aggression, kicked me out of the aforementioned ecological center. I believe that in any tourist place, education and friendliness towards tourists is sacrosanct. It is not acceptable that there are people who are so rude, rude and inept to manage a service that is anything but cheap (there is the highest taxation on waste in Italy).

It is sad to see such a beautiful place and so deserted by tourists. Instead of improving services, you only think about making money and then you understand better why ... for example, the management of waste in the municipality of Stintino is nothing short of painful. You can't find a dumpster or a waste bin. The door-to-door service works when you feel like it and to go to the ecological island You have to travel kilometers and then find rude and insolent staff who do not accompany the tourist in the civil disposal of waste. I recommend the municipality to remove these people who are unsuitable for dealing with the public. Needless to complain about the waste left on the street if you don't create alternatives. A praise to restaurateurs for quality and hospitality.

This year I had opted for holidays in Italy, I couldn't have had a worse experience. It is really a shame to see a wonderful place ruined by bad municipal management. The first day we left enthusiastic to visit the hairy, aware of the suffocating regulation still in place, we approached to take a single quick bath by placing a few of our things not on the sand but on a rock, we were stopped and scolded with a rudeness that we seemed to have killed someone. So after paying an absurd ticket to enter a free beach where the limited number is only literal since you enter and you put yourself in a square meter, we head to the car. Already annoyed we find a hefty fine on the dashboard because the discussion previously took place had made us delay a few minutes from ticket time (which moreover has a completely questionable price or € 2.50 per hour surrounded by street traders who attack you as soon as you close the car door ) It does not end here, the rudeness spreads elsewhere too, we present ourselves further annoyed in front of a bar, in the face of the crisis, they allow themselves to throw out two tourists who ask for a still water, sorry? “Too much chaos” which in my opinion (coming from Milan) seemed completely irrelevant at that time. The next day we head to a different beach called "Le Saline", here, hunted once more because the dogs, although small and more polite than many of the residents we met, are not tolerated in any way. Our vacation continued elsewhere, since given the UNACCEPTABLE COSTS, FREE RUDE, I forgot, GARBAGE EVERYWHERE EVEN IN THE BEACHES (plastic cups and much more) more than a management it looks like a mafia that pulls your neck. Ah, I'm sorry to confirm the previous comments on the ecological island, I'll spare you the details, the manager should definitely change jobs.

Pretty seaside village currently very popular with tourists. Historically famous for the Tonnara which for many years represented the main economic source, today sought after for the presence of many beaches among the most famous of Sardinia, in particular the Pelosa beach, a strip of sand that extends towards the Piana island which stands between Sardinia and Asinara. The urban organization, which has not yet adapted to the large tourist flow, is somewhat lacking.
