I recently made a custom tour in the Tailoring Museum. It is located in a restored house and spread over two floors. The building itself already has an interesting history of its own. Ms. Vally Valleys talks about the show with great passion and explains a lot about the making of the clothes. The clothes are striking for their many cheerful colors, for their asymmetrical designs and for the frequent use of silk. The colors and the reasons are often inspired by existing works of art by famous painters. They are a kind of personal interpretation of those works. During the tour we also had an interesting conversation about art in general.
Someone who is interested in tailoring should definitely pay a visit.
