Amazing building and amazing people inside.
Paolo Maggiani (12/01/2018)
Palazzo dei Rolli n. 10 Palazzo Lercari - Adorno, also known as Lercari Franco, was built by the same (banker and powerful politician) between 1571 and 1578; originally the front was composed of a series of open and overlapping lodges on two floors later closed by windows; the façade is embellished by a portal supported by two telamons (male caryatids) with severed noses [legend has it that the first owner took his revenge by cutting off his enemies]. In the nineteenth century it was bought by the Parodi family, which still owns it, unfortunately it can not be visited.

Beautiful building and relatively well maintained and like all the beautiful things of Genoa is hidden.
Maria Cecilia Torri (05/29/2018)
The building, located in via Garibaldi 3, is part of the Rolli list, a Unesco World Heritage Site since 2006. It was built by Franco Lercari in 1571 and then purchased in 1845 by the Parodi family, the current owner. It houses the Genoese section of the Pegaso telematic university. The two noble floors are worth a visit: in the first, frescoed at the end of the 16th century, there are also busts of Franco Lercari and his wife; in the second Luca Cambiaso frescoed the vault of the hall with images representing the construction of the warehouse of the Genoese in Trebizond on the Black Sea.
Angelo Valle (09/22/2018)
It stands out from the other palaces of Via Garibaldi because the external façade is entirely frescoed (and was restored in 2004). Remarkable rooms also painted inside, but the building is not always usable because it is owned by a bank. It would be useful a different destination to always enjoy this show, and not just on special occasions
