Particularly charming cloister of the 12th and 13th centuries. The capitals are very pretty and creative, sporting human and religious figures. The vegetation is lush. Many lapidary relics of the glory period of Genoa maritime republic. Ideal for pretty pictures.

Located in the splendid and scenic Piazza San Matteo, this cloister is unfortunately not always open to the public. It is often open for exhibitions or shows. If you happen to find it accessible, visit it absolutely. Recommended
