Monte rena is a mountain of modest elevation and little known on the Gressoney-Ayas divide. In the pictures you can see the panorama from the top on Mont Nery and Lake Frudiera. The climb to the top follows a ridge that becomes increasingly thin until you reach the top but nothing so striking. I recommend climbing to the top because the view is very beautiful and it is a peak that can be reached very quickly. It is suitable for those who want to get their hands on rock for the first time in an alpine environment. It is possible to make a crossing of various points starting from Punta Regina up to Mount Taf but the itinerary is reserved for mountaineers sure of themselves and experts on difficult terrain. Maximum rock passages grade II.
