Yesterday, 24 July 2016, back from the Ionian coast road, I arrived in S. Pancrazio where I found some barriers that diverted traffic. It was around 9.30pm. To continue towards Lecce there was only one indication (always straight) and I followed it carefully as all those who preceded or followed me! After an interminable journey, between remote countryside and without directions, I came to a roundabout where, due to the misleading signs (in practice for Lecce it was necessary to redo the same road) a traffic jam was created. All to repeat the roundabout several times, without anyone understanding the direction to take. In the end I relied on intuition and so, with other motorists and after so many other kilometers, I found myself in Salice Salentino. ALSO HERE OTHER DEVIATION AND ABSOLUTE LACK OF ROAD SIGNS. At this point I met a first passerby who gave me wrong indications (he was certainly one of your accomplices) and then another, almost reliable. In Lecce I arrived at about 10.40 pm !!! I would like you to become aware, together with the Mayor of S. Pancrazio, of the discomfort you have caused to the many motorists who have had the misfortune of passing by your side, of the lack of absolute respect, disinterest and / or sensitivity towards them and for your more than manifest inability to organize and manage a simple detour, with staff in charge and clear indications. If in 2016 you are not able to handle such a simple event, I imagine what chaos you would be able to organize in more complicated situations.
