It is one of the largest castellieri in Friuli and is visible on the road that leads from Sedegliano to Gradisca. It has a rectangular plan with sides that exceed 100 meters while the defensive embankment (aggere) today has a height of 3.5 meters and a width of about 20 meters. The construction of the Castelliere dates back to the Bronze Age (1900 BC) and, for this reason, the visit to the site allows us to imagine what life could have been like in these ancient dwellings. It is a pity, however, that this castle is not sufficiently valued and equipped with information panels for visitors.
