A very interesting gallery that is worth visiting when you are in Modena. Paintings, statues and objects from different time periods are presented. Most of them are works of art, related to the region. There are some very impressive specimens.
Fantastic collection of art.
Fantastic! The city doesn't seem to realize what a magnificent museum this is. Relagated to the fourth floor of the city museum building, this is a world class gallery of Renaissance art. Track it down and go.
First the tickets to be collected at the ground floor
One-two hour tour. A collection started a long time ago.
After the visit it is worthy to take a stroll in the Civic Gallery, for free, at the floor below the Galleria Estense.
