Located near the Porta Nord car park, behind the train station, this collective work - created almost entirely by the expert stone sculptors of Fanano - wants to draw attention to the "vexata quaestio" of migration.
Once our relief from poverty, with millions of Italians left for the world in search of fortune and a better life, today our grief because of those who come to seek hospitality (help, relief) for wars, famines or hostile climate change at our home.
A highly symbolic work deserves a thoughtful pause to lighten up the ideas a little and reason more coolly about this epochal problem.
