An interesting supplement to a visit to the cathedral, it includes a number of religious treasures and some interesting sculptural items. If interest mainly to those with a keen interest in art and archaeology.

The Museum on the first floor is well cared for and although the objects were not in my main area of interest I appreciated. Unfortunately, the Lapidary Museum, which preserves treasures of medieval sculptural art, is totally devoid of any caption or illustrative panel. In the bookshop there is a small short guide but it is by no means exhaustive. I recommend creating a panel in which to associate the works with their numbers to their original locations in the Duomo. And maybe some chronological references. It is a pity it is not valued because it is an important treasure.

Mignon-shaped museum next to the Duomo and under its famous tower. In the historical center of Modena, accessible with the combined ticket for UNESCO sites at a cost of 6 euros. The ticket is very practical because it allows you to see the different tourist attractions even on different days. I would say that you visit just because the entrance is included otherwise it would not be worth it. Sore the shop with 4 postcards and little more! Estimated visit time in 30 minutes. @ gargio76
