Amazing open air museum! Wood sculptures all along the path up the refuge. Amazing workmanship a must see in the region!

Found ingenious for large and small, beautiful and amusing wooden sculptures to look for in a path that is steep in some cases but with a splendid view. At the end of the path at the refuge, from the ponds, you will find fun games for children, in some cases on the water. It is advisable to bring at least one change for them.

Starting from the hamlet of Vetan, the refuge and the open-air museum can be reached with a two-hour walk on the farm road or with the climb following the path 13. Hiking trail with a final final climb of about 600m full of wood carvings depicting animals and men. My advice is to go up from path 13 and on the way back down from the private road. Near the hut then the museum opens up to the imagination with many characteristic and humorous statues. Arrived at the refuge, excellent refreshment and beautiful view from an altitude of 2385

The path that leads to the refuge is an open-air museum, with spectacular wooden sculptures and a breathtaking view. After a nice 2-hour walk at challenging times, you reach the refuge. The walk really deserves, it's worth it.
