A beautiful example of Roman architectural prowess, built in 3BC during Augustus’ 13th term as Consul. With the waterway on top and an internal walk way below. The aqueduct spans a deep gorge at the back of a village called pondel. The structure is well cared for and a glass floor was been installed and under lit allowing the visitor to marvel at the genius of Roman engineering.
