Very beautiful old town and the mayor's wife married us on August 4th, 2020 and it was very nice.

They organize the mega medieval parade. Overflown parking. No assistance for cars looking for a parking space. And the fighters just finished the medieval parade do a lot to do by fining all the cars that have not found a decent place to park. In the face of the medieval parade. Stay away from this city where parties are organized to attract tourists and while the money is thrown away with junk of bad taste, the watchful vigilants fre rub you with salty fines. Never again will we set foot in this place and we advise against all to stop. There are many other beautiful cities in South Tyrol but for us Chiusa is and remains closed in the true sense of the word. A 🌟 is too much!
Angelo Bertocchi (10/02/2018)
Chiusa lies on the banks of the Isarco river and is part of the circuit "the most beautiful villages in Italy". The village is dominated by the monastery of Sabiona, placed on a cliff. Stupenda is the walk that leads to the monastery, although discreetly tiring. Interesting is the parish church dedicated to Sant'Andrea dating back to the seventeenth century in Gothic style with subsequent additions baroque. Fascinating to get lost in the alleys of the village.
