Have visited the fortress during our vacation. What should one say? Many empty rooms, but still interesting to look at. The rooms, which are not empty, are equipped with an exhibition and art installations. Despite the nice weather we were as good as alone on the whole area. Unfortunately, without guidance, only the lower and middle fortress can be entered, while the upper one can only be reached with a guide (through a tunnel from the lower one). You realize that a lot of time and money was put into the object, all buildings are equipped with new doors and fire detection systems, also you do not need to climb stairs if you do not want, as everywhere elevators were installed. I really liked the area between the middle and lower fortress (see photos on the website). If you look at what was done, this justifies the rather steep acting admission prices of 7 € / adult b.z.w. 5 € for students. But it has become a very nice place, worth a visit. Even if it has 25 ° C and more and sunshine outside, it is very cold in the buildings, as they are partly built in the rock and consist of solid rock. So you should bring an extra fleece or a jumper;)
