We took around 2 hours walking tour to reach this town. Along the road within the wine yards, in the distance we were glad to see the great view of San Gimignano. Town houses are well preserved and present themselves like mid century ago. It is charming except the sun was so bright and I felt myself steaming.

I was struck by the architectural beauty of this open-air museum .. right from the arrival you feel the protagonist of a medieval postcard surrounded by ancient walls and towers .. too little I was able to see from a fleeting visit, so I hope to return soon and devote the time it deserves.

Superb hilltop town. .. Many towers dominate a maze of streets with glorious past ... At the time of prosperity, each family built a tower that served as a dwelling place. .. Today eleven remain and there were more than sixty ... Beautiful shops welcome you nice restaurants ... Beautiful landscapes ... Points of view ...
