Starting point for fabulous but peaceful flat walks in the territory of the ancient and destroyed convent of the Abbadessa, with legendary history, but true, therefore even more fascinating, than a noble knight of the time of the Crusades and his great love impossible for a nun, the famous Abbess. An incredible and unique story: this man managed to make his beloved woman holy, and like Dante with Beatrice, he has passed over centuries and generations to make her remember today. You will find the story in a photographic sign with caption, also testified by a century-old memorial stone, along the way of a dirt road, coast and flat, on the top of the hill. Once traveled, this road is unforgettable because it has a double panoramic view: to the south towards the plain, and to the north, towards the hills of the interior. But its strong point is at the point of the sign with the story then legend of the Abbess: towards the plain, a breathtaking view, inside a huge disturbing gully. It is on the uncertain and dangerous edges of that ravine that the knight on horseback went up to listen, in the church of the convent, to the song of the beloved Abbadessa. And that's not all. Other scenic and short roads to visit start from Villa Torre. The highest hill of the Dulcamara educational farm, with happy farm animals. And then, at the next episode ...

The center, very beautiful and quiet in my opinion is little appreciated. It has a guesthouse with more rooms with bathroom and a museum building where it is also possible to hold business meetings. Large outdoor areas with lawn and trees. Good location for any excursions on the hills

Nice as a place, very spacious, perfect for organizing events. You can also enjoy a wonderful landscape, in the evening it is even more beautiful with the lights of the city at your feet
