Alpe-Adria Trail 6.Etappe

Very nice stage of the Alpe Adria cycle path. It's always slightly downhill from Tarvisio. The path is well marked. The route leads along the old railway line through the Canal Valley. You also drive through some tunnels. These are mostly illuminated, but it doesn't hurt to take a light with you. Also recommended for children.

Very nice bike path, cool tunnels and very nice views. However, it gets very confusing towards the end and the bike path to Germona is poorly signposted and it goes a long way along the road.

We drove with a group of teenagers from Tarvisio to Venzone. The bike path runs mainly on a great, renovated former railway line. Short sections are on the road otherwise nice next to or away from the traffic. Shortly before Venzone ends this great bike path and the tour must be continued on the road. In Venzone we got on the train and went to Udine. Stayed there and then drove on to Grado! An experience for young and old!
