I waited for a friend who was leaving work. The statue was not illuminated therefore I did not see it well.

Piazza Maria Teresa, located behind the Cavour Garden and not far from Via Della Rocca, is yet another nineteenth-century testimony of the city. In a mezzanine floor of a building that partially overlooks the square, you can see small windows full of vases of flowering plants also hanging on the wooden doors. To visit.
Dario Milanese (06/09/2018)
The sculpture dedicated to the Neapolitan general Guglielmo Pepe (1783-1855) was made by Stefano Butti (1807-1880); initially placed in the garden of the Ripari, in 1858, it was then definitively moved the same year to piazza Maria Teresa. Guglielmo Pepe was born in Squillace in Calabria in a very large family. He embarked on a military career, but was exiled to France: there he joined the Napoleonic troops. He fought alongside the Bourbon troops, but was again exiled: this time from 1821 to 1848. He was appointed general in Venice, but with the fall of the junta he was sent back into exile. He returned to Turin in 1855, when he died.
