*** Scam - Dishonest owner ** The owner has kindly opened for us his campsite before the official date. But it wasn't a bargain at all ! Before coming we asked him if there were a laundry and warm water (it was very important for us as we were travelling with a baby) and he answered yes. Unfortunately the laundry didn't clean at all our clothes after three attempts. Moreover the warm water for the shower worked occasionaly ! And the cleanliness of the toilets, let's not talk about it. I would rather not imagine what it's like when there are people in the camping place !!!

Noisy and very busy site that is very expensive for what you get as a campervan.  Very popular with the Italians with packs of very young kids running around shouting at the top of thier voices at 2200hrs. Finally quietened down about 2330hrs but we were then all awoken by some very loud women debating at volume near our van at 0500hrs for what seemed an age! Pool is a littke small for the size of campsite and you must wear swim caps which will set you back 5 Euros each at reception.  The loos here at the pool were very unclean and had no loo roll which is not something you often think about taking swimming. You will have to pay for lounge chairs though there are plastic tables and chairs outside the pool. The campsite put on aqua arobics on Monday to Thursday 16-1700hrs which was popular and looked fun. There was space to swim whilst this was taking place so you were not kicked out of the pool. Note the pool is closed between 1200 and 1500 hrs. The campsite also put on events at the bar. Last night was Blues night which unfortunately we could not attend as the kids were exhausted but it sounded good from our pitch as we played at trying to guess the songs and to night they did disco and a carnival at the beach. As a campervan we were packed in so tight that the van next to us was 30 cm from our Awning and they had to walk through it to get in and out of their area.  We had to hang towels across the awning to try to get some privacy and felt we were sharing a pitch with another van as they try to cram as many vans in a tiny space as possible. This cost us the princely sum of 55 euros a night. We have been used to paying between 18 amd 35 euros so far on the tour so expected a lot more for that money given the marketing. To be fair we were shown the only pitch they could offer us when we arrived but having booked a pitch and having driven 3 hrs to get here plus knowing there was no availability on other sites in the area we were left with no choice but to take the pitch if we wanted to see Cinque Terra or not camp in the region and not visit the Cinque Terra. There appeared to be just 4 showers and 2 loos for the campers (and one of the loos was broken) and there was a 20 person queue to shower when we went. The water was hot though which was good. When I reported the broken loo I was subsequently told there were more loo blocks on the camp, something we were not told when we arrived and first asked for a map. When I wandered over to that block there was only one loo there so toilets are something i think the site needs more of; a comment echoed by other reviewers I note. The 900m walk to the beach felt much longer and when we arrived it was equally packed which is our personal hate.  If you are happy being sat like a colony of penguins on a beach then you may not hate this as much as we did.  There is a shuttle train that runs you up and down but we did not use this so cannot comment on it. The train station is a 10 minute walk away and you can get trains to the Cinque Terra villages. A family ticket is 42 euros and you need to buy this if you are hopping on and off at each village or you have to buy tickets for each leg of the trip. This is not clear at all so beware. We narrowly avoided being fined. Ultimately it is a question of taste and this site really is not to our taste but obviously is very popular and caters more for the chalets and permenent pitches. Had we been paying a total of 35 euros a night rather than the 55 euros then we would have rated the site higher and not felt so disappointed. We decided to try out the restaurant and we were really glad we did. The waiter was charming and very helpful and worked exceptional hard. The food was really tasty and without doubt the best we had had this holiday. Finally the campsite staff were helpful and friendly when you managed to get them able to engage (ie when it was quiet) and gave you information but you had to ask all the questions rather than getting told all you might need to know.

Very nice Camping-Side with terrassses and oliv-trees. Nice and modern sanitary-rooms. Very nice and helpfull people work there! The City off Sestri Levante is very beautiful, 3 puplic beaches are easy to visit. Me and my children really enjoyed the days there!!!
