With this beautiful limestone bas-relief sculpture depicting the Agnus Dei, placed in the central ashlar of the round arch of the building and the nearby and overhanging window niche with traces of fresco, it is possible that in the past this building was a convent religious. The sculpture, albeit small and unique element exhibited, gives a sense of mysterious Middle Ages, the purely Marche artistic style, probably is testimony of the presence of some Lombard master sculptors, many having come to work as masons and stonemasons in this region in the Middle Ages and in the early Renaissance, coming from northern Italy and dalmatia. They left precious and unique testimonies in the world of an artistic style, unfortunately very often an ignored or hidden aspect of the Marche region.
