Bought a Fiat 500 from Affari Sbulonnati over the Catawiki website. Not only did they try to get payment before delivery, but delivery was made without papers. From the outset it was clear that a whole range of points were not as described on Catawiki. When the papers finally arrived, it turned out that the Fiat 500 that was delivered was not the one offered on Catawiki. The total number of km was more than double that of the car that I bought, the overall state worse, the age of the car different. When confronted with this fact, dear Fabio argued that is was OK to deliver a another car in much worse condition, because in his opinion the auction price paid (a no reserve auction) was too low... Frauds, that is probably what describes David and Fabio best.
Glad to add the paperwork including the exchange of emails proving I am a client of yours and that there is no way you are not aware of this! Embarrassing indeed, especially the obvious but ludicrous attempt to act as if I mistook you for another company. But totally in line with a company that doesn't even back off from delivering another car than the car that was bought.
