What a treasure this delightful reconstruction of the original synagogue is. There is always someone to explain the items and the history. There are leaflets and books some translated into English available. Entrance is only 1€. Fondi Council has restored the original Jewish courtyard and surrounding buildings. Absolutely fascinating glimpse into medieval Fondi. Don't miss this one - it is a gem.
Very beautifull. The boy, very well prepared and nice, explained everything to us clearly and answered a few questions.

It seems like passing a Stargate .... you enter a world and a crazy atmosphere. Fondi meets the Jewish world a stone's throw from your home.
